This author is not afraid to break with tradition exploring a number of issues through simple verse and random philosophical quotes. It wont be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed the collection and would certainly recommend it to others.

I've just posted a review on the paperback version of this book (which I have since purchased) so I thought I should add my thoughts to the hardcover given they contain the same content. Regardless of whether you choose paperback or hardcover, this book is certainly worth a look. If you’re looking for poems that stick to the rules and regulations of convention then you will need to look elsewhere. If you’re looking for poems that are easy to read, that come from the heart and that get the brain ticking, then this is the book for you. I particularly enjoy the philosophical quotes, such as:

"Numinous faith that beguiles an open mind,
Embraces a future that we'd otherwise leave behind."

To me this is suggesting that anything is possible if we have total faith in ourselves, I think it's a sentiment that we can all relate too.
