I was a huge fan of this when it was in The Grauniad, and I was very very pleased to find it available in book form.



The annals of a slightly nightmarish circus and its sordid members, it often seems meandering and pointless, not to mention somewhat light on jokes. Therein, of course, lies its charm. Take a journey to the underbelly of the modern comic strip.
