What I loved most about this book was all the small details. They put a lot into this book, I can tell. It is the type of book that every time I look at it, I will see a new inspiration. I do not know about you, but that is what I look for in creative book. One that keeps giving and giving. Thank you so much ladies for all the inspiration. Clarice
I just received my book today (at work). It's gorgeous! I can't wait to get home to read it. In reading the other reviews, I'd also like to comment on the price of the book. Yes, it is smaller (thinner) than I expected but the quality and content of the photos make it all so worth it! Publishing is not a cheap endeavor and I for one am happy that the collective artists took the time/effort and generosity in sharing their artful day with us.
Brava!

I was so excited to receive my book in the mail.
There are so many inspirational artworks in the book that we can all try out and put our own little spin on it.
Fabulous book. No matter how many times I have looked through it there is always one of those "ah ha" moments when you realise that you can do it too!

Postmark L.A. is a lovely diversion and I really enjoyed studying the photographs for ideas to translate into my own crafty endeavours. The book inspired me to want to have an art party of my own...I felt quite envious of the opportunity the authors/artists shared to craft, shop and play together.
I was so excited, my friend Charlotte has another book coming out.Yippee!! So I ordered it right away and boy was I thrilled . I think the book is just so pretty and sweet it's most definitely candy for the eyes. The way it's written and laid out it's really like reading and looking through their diary of a great time together. I would recommend this book to all that are in the arts or just want to get to know the Artists a little bit better. Thanx for writing it ladies.

As an already big fan of one of the authors, I couldn't wait to get my book. I was thrilled the day it came! I read the stories, made notes of craft supplies to buy and felt like I knew these wonderful women so much better - even after reading their blogs. I've already started one of Charlotte's projects! Blogs are a strange thing - I sometimes feel like these women are my friends - and this book made me feel like I shared that wonderful weekend with them!
I originally bought this book to give to my Mom for her birthday, but I'm keeping it! It's such a treasure. I'll have to get her another one!
Thanks ladies!

What a wonderful book filled with awesome eye candy from this group of talented gals. Just as described, the book took us along on their fun and creative art party making it seem as though we were right there with them. It's full of projects to recreate on our own, as well as clip art, tips, bios, inspiration...the list goes on and on. Great photography and color. I totally loved every page!
Escape for a while with some talented women celebrating their creative voices together. It will inspire you to gather some friends, create, laugh, and explore together.

I adored this book. I too had to kick my feet up and sit down with a cup of tea and pore over this book. It's a true visual feast for the eyes. Inspiration is to be had in each and every page packed with gorgeous photos and delightful tidbits. The artists share a true camaraderie that is inspiring and enviable. There are numerous projects featured and superb photography that left me wanting more! I loved it and am looking forward to more from this talented group of women!
I received my copy of Postmark LA and had to sit down with a cup of tea and devour the entire book that night! The projects were beautifully photographed and I loved how the authors openly shared about their friendships, family and their creative process. It only confirmed how vital it is to nurture our friendships and creativity. I know I will use the ideas and templates furnished in this book for future projects.
I was delighted as I thumbed through this gorgeous, shiny, vivid collection of artistic eye candy. What a wonderful chronicle of the meaning of friendship and the shared creativity that feeds our souls. What really touched me was the clarity I found within it's pages about my own life. Most importantly, I was reminded through this darling little journal that all women deserve a special moment to come together that they will remember and treasure. I am looking forward to recreating some of the inspiring vintage projects and using the lovely images provided in the book. Such an inspiration to create, love and find joy!
Just a brief post to just say I loved the book. It's nicely done, full of inspiring images and projects, beautiful photos, easy instructions...
I really enjoyed reading through it and learning more about each artist in action. They opened their hearts and shared with all of us their romances {a great idea for Valentine's Day} and their crafty party. This was a great opportunity to also stress how wonderful friendship is!
This book rocks girls!
Love it!

I was so looking forward to receiving L.A. Postmark. With such talented artists at the helm, how could it miss? Sadly, it did just that. I was hoping for projects, inspiration, new ideas. What I got instead was the story of 6 artists - friends - who had a lovely art party. They shopped, they crafted and they chatted. They shared that through this book. I was just expecting something different, something more for $24.98.
Admittedly there are ideas here and once I get over paying so much for this small book I may be inspired to search for them.

This book (smaller and thinner than I expected) would have been a good bargain at $9.99, perhaps...$12.99 would have been pushing it. At the price I paid, I felt ripped off. I literally read every word, and it took less than half an hour. It's a pretty book full of pretty pictures, but basically the entire content is a rehash of this fabulous party several women attended and all the fun they had together. Much space is wasted; entire pages are devoted to such things as how each of them met their (wonderful, naturally) husbands, and what each person remembers from the party. Ho-hum. The projects are few, no directions are provided and they're all things we've seen before.
