Me and my two boys really enjoy this book of poems. The poems are fun, as is the art. It's great to find a book (especially poetry)that appeals to boys, as well!

This is a book well worth keeping on your shelf. It's a great collection of stories and poems of well know children's authors with great talent. My six year old son and I read it together for fun and to strenghten his reading skills. I particulary enjoy the fact that the pages aren't overwhelmingly long. This is good for two reasons, we can read as much as we have time for and my son is quick to tackle reading stories successfully on his own. On behalf of myself (a frequent reader of children stories) and my six year old, we highly recomend this book!

My students have enjoyed this book, and it has been a really great addition to my poetry unit. My own kids aging 9-11 really like the book and the word plays within. There is something for everyone in this book. Don't hesitate to purchase it, and it had quality writing and subject matter for the home and school. What a great buy!

I received my copy of Itty Bits of Bliss today. It's larger than I thought it would be - the better to show off the wonderful illustrations. Christine Tricarico has done a magnificent job with the layout, and teamed up exactly the right illustrators for the tone of the poems.


I'm really impressed with the entire project, and am delighted to be a small part of it. I'm also tickled with the inclusion of "A King Is Born" and "Are You There, God?"


I'm having a difficult time picking one of the poems as a favorite, but two that stand out are "Summer Daydream" by Tricarico which is charming, and Kelly Dipucchio's "Dog Tag." I've read it twice already, and admire her clever wordplay.

This children's poetry collection is wonderful! I had the opportunity to meet Christine at her book reading of Itty-Bits of Bliss and found the poems enchanting so I got a copy for each one of my 4 grandchildren!

I was blessed with the wonderful opportunity to work closly with Christine from the conception to the finish of this book. Never have I been involved with a more dedicated "crew" of writers and illustrators! The love for this project flows through each poem and illustration. Children will delight in the material and parents and teachers will find comfort knowing that "Itty-Bits of Bliss" will not only enrich its readers but will help to support an often overlooked cause.
