Description:

Taken in Derry City, Northern Ireland. The juxtaposition of the barbed wire and the cross tell much of the tragic story of Northern Ireland. May light continue to break through the darkness and may the cross of Christ no longer be used as a tool of war, but as a place where the people of God can rest as one, through grace alone.

Tara's eye for composition is amazing! The depth of this piece is exceptional. Viewing gives us saddness for man's inability to get along in this world, mucking everything up, but more so hope from the fact that God stands over it all in ultimate Sovereignty, regardless of our inability at times to see him through the fierce battles and the smoke!
