Description:

Several true accounts of the battle with and triumph over, benzodiazepine prescription drug addiction.

From the author: "I wish I had easier access to benzo information like this while I was in the heat of battle. I could've handed a book just like this to my family and say 'See? It's not all just in my brain!', and earn them a little knowledge about my plight, bless their well-intentioned hearts"

Hot Tears, Cold Shivers [ No Rating ] 8 May 2008
I read this book in the middle of a long quiet night. I wanted a silent window to read about a "silent story." The language is beautiful, a rare combination of poignant humour. It is one of the easiest/hardest "reads" I have ever crawled into. For those who have danced with the "Devil Xanyx", they will recognize their old familiar enemy. For those that think the "Devil Xanyx" is a figment of a paranoid one's imagination, this book can very well save their life. Xanyx is not the hip, cool drug. Therein lies the danger. No one is talking about it. This is the beginning. I will recommend it to dozens and dozens of people I know.

Well you know I'm not a writer,so I'll just say whats from my heart okay,Although I do understand alot in this book about medication and the side effects it can cause.I at times feel medicine is put out on the market way too quickly and not enough research is done on it.

I feel this book will open up many peoples eyes as to what can happen to a person on certain prescription medications. If this story can save one other person from going through what you went through it is so worth reading and gaining the knowledge of medication and what it does to people.

Thank you for writing this informative book.
