This should be madatatory reading for Lulu authors, I'd go further and suggest Lulu includes it in it's help pages. It's so chock full of useful information, it's almost a crime that Ron's giving it away free as a download. It's not so much a "how to", but a "what to think about". A great job Ron, many thanks
All right, so perhaps there isn't really any hype or hoopla surrounding the release of Ron Miller's latest Lulu---But there should be. Miller's book is clear, concise and immeasureably helpful.
In just a few short, beautifully illustrated pages, Miller explains what defines a successful book cover, how an author (not an artist) can create or commission one, and provides an extensive list of free online resources. Every self-published author who hopes to make his/her book a success needs this tome.

Excellent resource for anyone considering creating their own cover art. Clear and concise explanations, examples and resources. Great job!
This is an indispensable aid to all Lulus who want their book to have a professional looking cover. Full of tips and links to help the self publisher.
Thanks Ron!

In this e-book, Ron not only gives advice on what makes an effective book cover based on his own experience; he also provides the reader with several examples and a extensive list of links with free or inexpensive images. It saved me a great deal of search engine woes.
