Some have to do with long-range planning for both local governments and the world and large, others have to do with economic and political problems, along with some suggested solutions or, at least, ideas for further discussion. There follows some of a more philosophical nature having to do with the "meaning of life", or at least how we can get the most out of our own lives. Then follow a few famous follies from the past which can serve as a warning as to what happens when people ignore environmental degradation. Finally a group of essays about art and commerce. Attempts to get people to think outside of the usual pathways have met with limited success. Not everything offered as solution to current problems, is, therefore, necessarily advocated. These essays, and any subsequent ones, as well as a large selection of photographs are available on the author's web site: http://robertdfeinman,.com Keywords:Listed in: |
