Description:

Laugh hysterically and experience intense karate fights with George 'Walker' Bush in a story satirizing the DMV, IT industry, barflies, and the silliness of life. Dan is at the airport minding his own business when a sexy blonde suddenly walks up and sings to him - at the gate. Strangely, her song is quietly playing on his iPod in perfect timing! How is she doing it? The only thing Dan knows is it's all about to get crazier. Who will rule the land? Will it be 'Walker' in his crafty cunning or can Dan wrestle away the power with a secret weapon? Prepare for a wild ride of non-stop, random silliness as the author paints a satirical, surreal world. Consider his creation a cross between Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Gulliver's Travels (original satire), Monty Python, and Alice in Wonderland. ...Read this book.

Some great descriptions, 'weasel child' and observations, 'crumb riddled floor' - the sort of details that are important for 'reality', and shocking, 'rolled newspaper smacked...'

The way it switches between 'what we expect' then leaping into the decidedly 'strange' would keep any reader on their toes and certainly develops interest.

I loved the announcement in chapter two - great 'tongue-in-cheek' humour and thought provoking.

Well written and unusual...
