Description:Perfect socks are so named because they fit me perfectly. They are just like a commercially made sock in look and fit. I had never liked making socks because I always knit the more common heel with gussets. These never fit me at all, bunching around the ankles. When I discovered this version of turning the heel I changed my opinion on knitting socks! I hope you will enjoy this pattern as much as I do! 100 grams of sock yarn. These were originally knit with Lang Jawoll (49% wool, 35% cotton, 16% polyamide) Yarn but any sock yarn (fingering to sport weight) that gives the correct gauge will do. Lang Jawoll has 1926 yards per lb. Keywords:Listed in: |
