Description:

On January 1, 2008, I stood at the most southern point in the lower 48, then started hiking north nearly 1900 miles to Springer Mountain, the start of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia, where I finished on April 16th. Along the way, I took some photos, and I turned some of my favorite ones into this calendar. Each picture in this calendar was taken somewhere along the hike during this 3 1/2 month timespan.
