I bought Book 1 of this series for my little twins and was so impressed that I bought Book 2 for my Grade 5'er. I loved the first book, but this one is even better. My son can now tell a gerund from a present participle, and knows the difference between a preposition and an adverb of place. He loved the comprehensions, especially the ones about "Mrs. Geometry of Two-Dimensional Land" and "An Alien's View of Life". We use the conversation topics for discussion around the dinner table, and the writing exercises give practice in lots of different writing styles. A good, fun book to help children enjoy their study of English.
