I've heard from other customers that the printing quality of this books is miserable but that LULU was looking in to getting it fixed.

Has it been fixed now? Or should we still hold off ordering?

I thought it is very nice, well worth the money for the inspiration value alone. It is a good deal when one considers the number of pages, and all the photos that it contains. The color may be off just slightly in the color shots, but you can't expect perfection without having to pay a ton of money.
