Take me away from all this? Not a chance...this is one of those books that's far too good for anyone to be taken away from!
John Steventon's work is of the highest calliber; good natured, easy on the eye, extremely funny, highly addictive...what more could a fan of comic books ask? Oh yes...it's highly original as well.
In this day and age when most of the strips that occupy our newspapers and magazines are bland, committee-produced, mass-manufactured much-of-a-nothingnesses, John Steventon's 'Knight & Day' cartoons stand out like a column of light. The characters are perfectly rounded, although flawed just enough to make them instantly likable; the artwork is excellent; the plots are absorbing and...well...everything about this book is just perfect really.
Well worth the six star rating it's getting from me.
Highly recommended for anybody intelligent enough to buy a copy.
