I’ve read a ton of books in my lifetime and some are good some are bad…but it’s truly the ones that you can’t put down that are the stuff that my deepest dreams are made of. I read this book last night in one sitting. I was falling asleep and drank coffee to stay awake because I had to know what happened next. I'm tired at work today, but that's ok...I enjoyed my evening of reading.

This is well written and enjoyable and will grab you.
On the right track -- from the wrong side

Karen Murray's memoirs are colorful yet haunting, evoking a range of emotions from heartbreaking to howlingly funny. Her courage and tenacity in meeting and overcoming life's obstacles (from what she refers to as "the wrong side of the tracks") is related in a conversational, familiar style that feels more like a cup of coffee with a dear friend than like reading a book. I hope to see more from Murray as soon as possible.

I have read this book and I have spent a lot of time with Karen, and this is a wonderful and amazing accomplishment! I am so proud of her! I encourage everyone to do themselves a favor and order this book. It is tender and insightful - the tale of an amazing woman who has lived an amazing life. She is definitely one of my heroes.
