Actually has merit

When I first looked over this title, I thought no one call murder Santa Claus and get away with it. The book began at a good pace, but bordered cliche territory with the rouge female detective, grisly body, and such.

Still, I chose to continue my read, and actually I am glad I did. The world was beautifully crafted, the characters were each given a voice of their own. You grew to know them and respect them all.

The story sets up for the next book coming out on Halloween, and I will be one of the first people to pick up a copy. I just hope the writing continues to enchant.
