They introduce the topic of Figaro with detailed historical introduction using many footnotes and bibliographical references. These 228 pages written in ITALIAN and ENGLISH with translation by Robert Newman also contain more than 50 photographs of musical examples from these virtually unknown scores together with comments, facsimiles of the original manuscript held in KT315 in Vienna and also from score F791 at Modena. Orchestral transcriptions are also supplied.
