I received this book yesterday and have read most of the stories already. This lovely author knows how to tell a great story. Short stories have never been a favorite of mine, until now. "Memories of a Soldier" was so heartwarming and I love "Turning Right" a wonderful story of a woman's fight for control and learning to let go, with a great moral at the end. This has become my favorite short story of all time and I can see the opportunity for many follow up stories of Amanda, Nick, Scott and Old Tom. Her passion for writing shines through her stories as a beacon in a storm and I can see why book stores have decided to give her books the shelf space they deserve. I can't wait to read more from this gifted author as I know she will continue to grow and nurture her craft.
