Description:

Early in 2007 some of the crew members of the Alaska Ranger, a factory trawler which operates out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, asked me to create a scrapbook of photos as a keepsake of their experiences while working on that boat. For the rest of the year I became the unofficially sanctioned papparazzi of the boat and crew, putting together a collection of images to document the year of 2007. Hopefully I have captured the essence of life out here and created a glimpse into the lives of the fishermen who work out of this port.

The Alaska Ranger [ No Rating ] 2 Aug 2008
A must have book for all interested in knowing this part of Alaska. Mistlebee with her camera touches the soul of this Island with her understanding of its' history, nature and mankind. The Deadlyest Catch shows one side of the story this book gives the other side of the equation.
