Description:Recent paintings by award winning artist Mary Medrano. A feel for the book. In this make-believe entry way my Grandpa and his dog’s water bowl reside. He was my favorite person to visit because he was gentle and we ate hotdogs. He called them wieners and we all secretly laughed at that word. I think I ate Kentucky Fried chicken for the first time at his house. I thought that was delicious food. Best of all his candy dish was always full. He was kind and gentle and his backyard sloped down to a little creek that was filled with pollywogs, garter snakes, lightening bugs and butterflies. Keywords:Listed in: |
