Printed: 68 pages, 8.5" x 11", perfect binding, full-color interior ink Description:The cyanotype is often the first alternative process that people try. Digital photography has given this historical process new life. Now you can create negatives in your computer and develop the prints in the sun, combining one of the earliest photographic techniques with the latest. The cyanotype process is a perfect compliment to today’s digital photography, whether you are making creative prints or fine art. It gives experienced photographers and artists a great excuse to take their eyes off the computer screen and get their hands dirty. Keywords:Listed in: |

The good news is that it also covers additional topics like toning that I haven't had a chance to try yet and now I feel like I'm ready to take those on!
But if you are already further with experimenting cyanotype as I am I miss some more in depth information. for instance about choosing papers for cyanotype. You could write a chapter on it.
Thanks again.

I strongly recommend it as a teaching resource and will be buying a class set.

"artistic" cyanotype process. I will be using it as a resource and
also a good jumping off place to find other more technical
resources.
This book helps give cyanotype the respect it deserves as an art form.
I'll be purchasing several books to have for sale at a show I'll be
having next February on Alternative Processes. Along with
the show I'll be teaching workshops to children from the 3rd grade
to high school, so this be be great additional information and nice to
be able to offer it for sale to these students.
