If your planning to build the new 1/48 scale Academy CH-53E Sea Stallion kit, this book (or download) is a must. Lots of close up pictures, all in vivid color. Engine covers and exhaust ports, machine guns, rear cabin details, rotor head, a painting and marking guide, and much more, are all covered. Missing only are cockpit photos showing the Sea Stallion's massive instrumentation suite. Half the book features the Navy Sea Dragon and the other half is dedicated to the Marine Sea Stallion. The book is semi hard cover with full opening wire bounding. So it will stay open on the work bench during building. Nice feature! You can really tell Chris Reed photographed this book for modelers and I appreciate him making it available to us. Highly recommended.
