Description:

For the price of an average meal out, Paul E. Gaj has compiled a guide to help the average man, from 18 to 80, prepare his own food. Here you will find the tools, steps, timing and measurement information needed to boil an egg or make a meatball. Included are lists of ingredients, shopping considerations and insights into creating three square meals a day. This is not a gourmet cookbook, nor is it a make-it-out-of-the-can directory to fast and lousy eating. There are over 40 recipes and a link to a web site with weekly updates and information to steer a man down the road to self-nourishment.

I absolutely loved this book! This book would make a great gift - not only because of the hand-painted, beautiful illustrations, but the recipes are superb! It's written in a very reader-friendly manner and the recipes aren't too complicated. I would definitely recommend this book as a great Father's Day gift, birthday gift or just as an overall addition to anyone's cookbook collection.
