The EloHymns series is meant to provide a worship repertoire rooted in Hebraic music for Sacred Namers. Psalm singing is hardly a new idea. Classic Christianity has its Psalter, based on the ancient Hebrew songbook. Sadly, worshipers seldom sing scriptures anymore, preferring the "pop" music of our decaying culture. But Psalm singing need not be consigned with the boring! Considering what songs would be acceptable to Yahweh, EloHymns started pouring into my spirit. I have set over 200 psalms to music, with the true Names preserved. Over one hundred are in "The EloHymnal" published by Lulu.com. This present CD volume, Arise, O YAH! is my first attempt at composing, arranging & recording psalms for the use of others in worship. They are not meant just for listening, but singing!
