In addition to the tasks outlined by our Basic Edit, our editor will:

• reorganise and reword sentences to improve sense and legibility;
• ensure that the heading structure is logical and is relevant to the copy covered by the heading, and revise where necessary;
• restyle inconsistent typographical elements such as headings, quotes, lists and footnotes;
• highlight for your review any material that might require copyright permission;
• highlight for your review any text that might infringe other legal obligations;
• ensure that the work is complete and that items referred to in the text, such as artwork and tables, have been included;
• compile a style sheet that incorporates publisher’s style requirements and includes all the elements for which editor has had to make a style decision.
