Description:

Giada thought she was too good for Kentucky. Certainly too pretty to be with an average looking guy like him. On top of that, he didn't have the bankroll that her materialistic heart required of all her serious love interests. And yet none of that seems to matter when the sparks start flying between them. Soon this beauty queen is in heavy pursuit of the very guy that she shunned earlier. The guy that she suddenly realizes is actually too good for her.

First I'd like to say the author had a great editor. Secondly her lead Kentucky was my kind of man. Self-made, confident, aware of his worth and then some. Her heroine was a 'gold digger' extradanaire, but Giada was honest to a fault, couldn't hate her she just tickled me in her single-minded pursuit of the good life, but she had a heart loved that about her. Loved she loved my Kentucky so hard and good she couldn't wait to have the man's babies. Loved Kentucky for wanting a woman who could take care of herself, and love him all at the same time. Loved the plot, the secondary characters, especially Kentucky's mom....did I say I loved the book. Yes, I did. Will definitely enjoy catching up with this author and her stories. The moral of the story it what's in the package that makes it pretty....hard work, trust, honesty, and faith that one can gain what they need on their own....well that's what I got. JV
