Description:

A humorous, sexy account of the most important month in human history, when George W. Bush won his second term...from the point of view of the blogosphere, email, IMs, memos, phone calls; a great chain of conversation. The novel contains characters and lovers you will long to forget. But they will not let you...

"An indelicate romp through the psyches of the desperate housewives of Charlotte, and the guys that drive them wild. A sexy look at the American Idol, I mean American Idle."
- Jude Nagurney-Camwell

"the most brilliant f**king thing I have ever seen."
- Rob Urban, Journalist

You have that mystical spark...the ability to inform and entertain at the same time...a gift that is a pearl of great price. Something mystical tells me you must have a direct connection with that great humorist, Robert Benchley. Your thought processes and command of language of worthy of his great reputation." - Jim Sauls, author of "Children of the Same God"

Sleepless in Ballantyne... [ No Rating ] 13 Oct 2006 (updated 13 Oct 2006)
Way to go, Dave. You've done it now.
Gotcher book yesterday. Decided to have an early night - you know, cozy up in the bed for a quick read followed by 40 winks that will get me through my typcial Frantic Friday workday.
Wrong, Dave. Wrong. I couldn't put it down.
One more paragraph.
One more section.
What the hell will he say next?
Midnight, one more page...
Finally, the early morning alarm.
Self-loathing sets in as I promise not to do this to myself again on a work-night.
M.L.
