Description:

The aim of Nuts and Bolts is to launch high school students into the world of college writing and responsibilities. Students will study the kinds of thinking required to be successful writers, readers, and class participants. The foundational skills of grammer, logic, and rhetoric will be taught to students both in preparation for college-level dialogue and as vehicles for students to assess their academic abilities and to develop meta-cognitive strategies to become better students.
