Tom Dodd - Great Story, and I agree with the others: I'd LOVE to read a sequel soon. I'm still recovering from the surprise ending!
Ellen R. Slater
This was a superb story. The characters were remarkably real, and I predict that the other readers will demand to see more of them. I'm completely enchanted with Valerie (I wish that she worked for me). Soria and Germain are almost polar opposites, yet they compliment each other in the same contrasting way that Spock and Dr. McCoy work together in Star Trek. The best part of all was the page turning. Half way through this book I couldn't put it down for longer than 30 mins., when I was drawn back to it. Very few authors have that ability to hold my attention like that.
Sadly, I could not find any other works by Mr. Tom F. Dodd. So if you read this, I hope that you're still writing because a talent like yours would be wasted with one effort. Seriously.
Keep up the good work and thanks.

Mr. Todd, you have got to write another story and surprise me again. I was sitting on a beach in L.I. reading the ending, and I yelled out, "Holy S___!" People around me thought I was losing my mind. That was great stuff, dude.
Okay, now the balanced perspective: I found six spelling and grammatical errors. I sent them to you at your email box. But Congrats on a super raed.

Seriously, a great read, wonderful characters. How do you writers think up this stuff?

By the end of chapter four I kept wanting to go back to the book constantly, but responsibilities tore me away. I finished the story in only four days, which is a record for me.
Mr. Dodd, I truly hope that there will be a sequel.

The old general needed to get more involved though...ooops, sorry, I shouldn't give away anything.
If you're a mystery buff like me, don't miss this one. I defy you to have guessed where the ending ends.

Truly a pleasdant surprise on 2 counts. The mystery and the romance. Tom, do you have any more like this? Please let me know. Thank you a lot.

T.F.D. did a great job. This book made my summer. I can see Hugh Jackman as the police inspector.
More, More, More, please!
Mr. Dodd is a great storyteller.
I give it ten stars.

I felt it was a compelling tale, written in a way that was difficult at times to put down.
I'd like to see other stories from this author on this subject. I never knew how much art work had been confiscated and then vanished forever.
The ending totally surprised me, it came out of nowhere, but I enjoyed it. It was masterfully written, and I have recommended it to several of my friends.
