Printed: 180 pages, 6" x 9", perfect binding, black and white interior ink Description:The Journal of Higher Criticism, founded in 1994, is a scholarly periodical featuring articles on Jewish, Christian, Islamic, and Mormon origins/scriptures, utilizing the insights and methods of the great Higher Critics of yesteryear, lamentably neglected today: Julius Wellhausen, D.F. Strauss, F.C. Baur, Bruno Bauer, W.C. van Manen, etc. Our approach might be characterized as radical or even ultra-radical, rather than trying to give equal time to all voices, since all the others have plentiful and ready forums elsewhere. Submissions are welcome and will be judged on the basis of quality, not on name recognition, resume, or institutional affiliation. Those deemed promising but not of professional calibre may yet be posted on our website for discussion. Listed in: |
