The famous Sherman Tank on the place Mc AULIFFE in Bastogne. Recently refurbished by Belgian Army Arsenal de Rocourt. The Madasson memorial monument is dedicated to the US Army troopers from 101th airborne and various other units which defended the town of Bastogne, during the second world war in Winter 1944 during the battle of the Bulge. Le mémorial du Mardasson, hommage de la Belgique aux héros de l'armée américaine durant la seconde guerre mondiale, particulièrement aux parachutistes de la 101ème divison aéroportée qui participèrent aux combats de défence du périmètre de Bastogne durant la seconde guerre mondiale, hiver 44, durant la bataille du saillant.
