Mark Raney is skilled at proper punctuation and formatting, but toward the end of the book he allows run-on sentences to litter the pages.
In the beginning of the book the author writes ‘and’ after every listed item, such as, “I told my mother, and my father, and my sister, and my brother,” instead of the simple, “Mother, father, sister, and brother,” which gets pretty annoying.
There are a lot of short, choppy sentences that tells the story instead of showing it, and it’s hard to identify with any of the characters for this reason. What is the main character’s name?
I could only bear to read a little more than half of the book, yet I still don’t know what it’s about. I don’t know any characters name in the book but the name Rosemary. Rosemary is the main character’s love interest which was made very clear.
There aren’t any tag lines after the quotes, so I didn’t know who was saying what. I have no idea what the relation between the title and the book is.
This book left me totally confused.

As I read this book written by Mark Raney,
I could see and feel the depth of the characters pain.
In my opinion this was one of his best books.
