Hist. 3:25:5) and 'the Gospel which the Nazarenes and Ebionites use' (Jerome; On Mat. 12:13). Using fragments and quotes contained in various works of the 'Church Fathers' and Historians coupled with His own translation of Hebrew Gospel of Matthew the editor hopes to have been true to the original text.
