What a charming concept, an English Marquess sent to America during out own period of Manifest Destiny to buy a horse infusing the English Racing blood with new life. Instead he masterful tries to seal his own freedom with the seduction and marriage of a non blue blood woman, a colonial, worse a woman of mixed heritage. I won't give away the ending but lets just say that she is not the one who looses.
Aliyah Burke as broaden the apeal of Regency modeled stories by providing a masterful descripton of the United States and England during this period. Those who enjoy westerns as well as regency romance will be pleased as they settle in for this excellent read.
A recomended read beside the pool but make sure your husband or significant other is near by to releave the stress.. HOORAY FOR THE NEW AMERICAN REGENCY.. I hope a sequel is on the way!
