"Life, Death and Other Dysfunctions" is a short story lover's delight! Each is written in the first person and in such a way so as to take the reader by the hand and guide him/her through the respective narratives. I found this book to be a thorough joy to read. All so well-constructed and executed on the page that only the message of each is left to the reader. Some may shock you and some will surprise. While others have a definite moral to consider. I assure you that once you begin reading "Life, Death and Other Dysfunctions" you will not want to put it down. It is a unique collection that, I believe, belongs in everyone's library.
I am an avid reader. This book by far, is at the top of my list of favorites. If you haven't read it yet, you must. I didn't want it to end.

One might think that a book dealing with death and life’s dysfunctions would be morbid. But, Larry deals with his subject matter in a manner that is straight forward, honest and engaging. His writing style is comfortable and concise.
I enjoyed each story, but the one about Stormy was my favorite.

I just finished Larry Thomlinson's book, "Life, Death and
Other Dysfunctions," and I'm telling you, it was a great
read. The man can write. He says most of the stories are made up...but they seemed real to me. He tells some
wild tales. You better read this one.

Larry Thomlinson is an excellent writer! His short stories are so descriptive and vivid. Although some of the stories about death can easily appear a bit gloomy or depressing, he's managed to overcome somber story lines with sharp, colorful prose.
I can visualize many of these stories coming from the mind of Rod Serling or Steven King!
