Okay...I'll admit it. I edited this book. So, you are allowed to take my comments with a grain of salt.
However, this one makes a nice gift for a growing mind, and is really quite beautiful. I tried to make the complex and sometimes mixed-up text suitable for modern readers. It will open your eyes to the actual Crusoe adventure. All the original scenes of the story are in the book. However, Daniel Defoe NEEDED an editor. In 1719, there were no such thing as book editors...an enjoyable work I recommend with pride.
