It is our deepest desire that all that read the contents of this book will gain knowledge, insight and perhaps avoid the negative experience that numerous patients had to endure. It is unlikely that the public will ever be able to out fox the fox. There are too many checks, balances and retaliatory acts in place for that to be allowed. By seeing the HMO for what it actually is the public can best avoid becoming another intentionally mislabeled statistic whose sacrificial experience will only be remembered as data presented before Congress for the purpose of an HMO to either obtain grant money or another sizeable health related contract.
