From the author who gave us Viking’s Vow comes a new and passionate tale, Lone Wolf One. Return to the world of the Solarian Warriors and experience for yourself the fire and devotion of the inhabitants as well as the creator. Once again Rae Monet has offered her readers a story brimming with ingenuity, verve, and insight. Lone Wolf One may be short in length but not short in substance. Rho
I loved the first two books in this series, but I have to say that A VIKING’S VOW is definitely my favorite. It sizzles right from the start and captivates you with its engrossing storyline and lovable characters. Whether they’re fighting or making love, Eirik and Sable are intense and passionate. Both are fierce, fearless warriors through and through, but love teaches them that surrender and compromise can be much sweeter than battle. A VIKING’S VOW is a fabulous addition to the Solarian Wolf Warriors series. I can’t wait to see where Ms. Monet takes the Solarians next.
While A VIKING’S VOW can stand alone, I recommend reading the previous books first. Eirik and Sable’s story actually begins in the first book, THE LOST WOLF WARRIOR, a story that provides a lot of background information about the Solarians. And you don’t want to miss the second book, THE SOLARIAN RAVEN, which beautifully ties up a loose end from the first book. Basically, you should definitely plan on reading all three, because once you’ve read one, you’ll be hooked, and you won’t be satisfied until you’ve read them all. Renee

Although this story is written to stand alone, there are references to other Solarian books that will leave you wanting to hunt them down to read as well. Author Rae Monet expertly creates three-dimensional characters in this short, but spicy, Viking romance. Some short stories are unable to fulfill the reader’s satisfaction completely, but Ms. Monet has managed to pack A Viking’s Vow with enough substance and verve that you will not realize it is a condensed tale. With the exception being that you are not ready to say goodbye to the hero and heroine. Fans of early Deveraux and Lindsay will enjoy Rae Monet’s A Viking’s Vow. Reviewed by Rho.
... A Viking's Vow is by far her best yet. The steamy moments of love and devotion between Sable and Eirik have more than earned 5 beautifully glowing Angels and a Recommended Read from this reviewer. Mary
Lone Wolf One is a rousing futuristic adventure that revisits Ms. Monet’s popular Solarian culture. Patrice
