This really is a good war book but written in the flavor of MASH but again different. I have sold a lot of this book before revision and now this one is going to take off. Hey, it'd be a great gift too! This book starts off in 1965 at the recruiters office and through Boot Camp, Viet Nam and other stations. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY is based on a true story and I believe that you'll enjoy it. Lots of pictures of 'real' marines in nam and loads of laughter that will stay with you for a long time. Are you a Viet Vet? Then you'll have a book full of memories. Not a vet? Then you'll see how it was. Have fun reading ooohrah! WORD OF WARNING: Bad language but we were Marines y'know! I forgot to mention, there is 'some' action too...well being a marine is action in itself eh? So let's journey back to 1965 when people made sense and the Hippys were everywhere! Watch as a young Marine take on the Corps! This book, as stated, has sold all over the world..even Ukraine! Well, it helps to have family there. If you are prior service, I think you'll enjoy this book!
