Let me start by saying this is the first audio I've heard by Ben Goldfarb. I LOVE IT!
What you need to know about me is that self improvement, personal growth, human potential is my field. I read self-help books and listen to tapes all the time. This is one of the best I've heard.
The way the recording is set up, it is best to listen with stereo headphones. You will hear the guiding voice (I'm assuming it's Ben's voice) on two different tracks, one in the right ear, one in the left. The suggestions are gentle and strong and although you can't focus on both at the same time, key phrases will float into your consciousness. Between the guidance to relax and the beautiful acoustic guitar I found it deliciously comfortable and calming.
I'm not sure that the sample will really capture the full experience with headphones, but you can certainly get a sense of the tone and rhythm of the sounds. I know I drifted into a deep relaxation and came out of it more refreshed too.
I HIGHLY recommend this recording, it is one of the most effective I've heard.
