Is the Australian Outback keeping a secret from NASA? An event during the Aboriginal Dreamtime era surfaces in the present day after Marwai, fabled artist had painted a trio of fantastic fossils on a cave wall. Before he knows it, the artist is abducted by visitors from another world. As they leave the earth, a meteor shower blasts the craft, thrusting into orbit a pod containing Marwai, where he remains till the present day. On a routine shuttle mission, NASA stumble upon the pod in space – and the visitors who force a bargain. But it’s not to be - a pair of Australian teenagers uncover the hidden cave painting and inadvertently start a chain of events that lead NASA to a place where the mischievous Aboriginal Kutji spirit controls a terrible device that belongs to the aliens...

Kieron Dowling’s book, ‘Silent Angels’ has to be described as a non-stop science adventure fiction where two Australian teenagers stumble upon a cave and their discovery opens up a modern day, Australian Pandora’s box. The boy’s discovery eventually lead an NASA team through a threshold between reality and fable, into another world, time and space; that put the team and the earth at risk.
I found the adventure delightful with European and Australian lingo that I as an American had to stop and reflect on. I recommend that you follow the adventure surrounding Diggers Cave and yet perhaps another Dreamtime story.
Brilliant So Far!

I'm reading your book (I'm a pretty slow worker =S) and I think it's great! The story is very interesting and it's well written. You've done an excellent job with the point-of-views, as well, since it's usually pretty hard or awkward to have more than one POV in the same scene at around the same time. Your characters are also brilliant - Sarah has hardly been in the story at the point I'm at and already you can see that, although hard on her luck, she's a loving and caring mother.

However, I will point out that there are a few spelling and punctuation mistakes (things like 'Spacemen?' rather than 'Spacemen.' You accidentally put a question mark instead of a full stop quite a few times in the story). These can be easily fixed though, with a careful read through.

Other than that, brilliant work! Well done! =D
