Description:The Art Deco movement had its roots in Art Nouveau, and like its predecessor, had a broad influence on the creative fashion of the day - architecture, sculpture, jewelry, and of course photography. With their characteristic poses, influenced by movements from dance and ballet, their beads, jewelry, hats and flapper lingerie fashions. Often statuesque or athletic, influenced by the German ideals of fitness and nudity, the newly liberated post WWI models feature bob or permed hairstyles - Flappers, dancers, amateurs... nude and semi-nude girls caught up by the decadent roaring spirit of the 1920s and 30s - thoroughly modern, and sometimes shocking. The photographers use flesh as form, experimenting with curves, angles, props, light, tone, to create a new aesthetic - risqué erotic visual art as had never been seen before. Supplied as a .EXE installation file for Windows, with random transition effects between each image Listed in: |
