I really loved this collection of short stories. I've read some of the author's other work and have never failed to be impressed. He is able to take something old and make it fresh, inject warmth in a story otherwise filled with dread, and has a style that is very much his own. I look forward to more.

A beautiful mix of strange & often nightmare-invoking stories, which have a human touch that lifts the stories out of the darkness many inhabit.



Not that all the stories are nightmares, there are also stories about fairy-tales and superheroes.



An enjoyable read.
