I have read this book thrice. Each and everytime I enjoyed a lot in reading. The characters are seems to be real. I think I would read it one more time within the next week.

Case in point, I'm not much of reader - have read 2 books in last 5 years. Started several but never finished them. The personal nature put into this work kept it in head and pulled me back wanting more. It seemed so much like a friend telling me part of their story. It was funny and wild and real - loved it!
This is an excellent book that is well-written and an easy read - this book takes you inside the heart and soul of the author, and truly, everyone can relate to the nervousness associated with meeting "the family" for the first time and learning all of their quirks. Before you reach the end of this book you will feel as if you know the author personally - and she leaves you wanting to know, what happens next?
This is a cute book. Very well written. An easy read about a small town girl and her lover dealing with the truths of their relationship and the difficulties they encounter from parents, community and religious stereotypes. Napoleon Dynamite meets Brokeback Mountain. I highly recommend it!
