Description:

Roth of Dazman, a young free lance warrior, is on a quest to solve his fabled grandfather's unexplained disappearance. He is unaware his innocent search threatens to undo an ancient curse of unspeakable dark magic from a nearly forgotten age. A chance encounter with an old man possessing a powerful magic gem, once used by a Red Dragon to enchant his grandmother, soon leads to a mysterious lost trinket belonging to his missing grandfather. Through magic he obtains a riddle with cryptic clues pointing him to Darkmire, a foreboding forest locked in a limbo of unnatural half-life by the evil waiting there for him. Dark enemies soon plague him at every turn, foreshadowing the true dangers his quest will bring. Deadly assassins, and creatures of evil conjured by the Ancient Darkness, try to kill him and steal his grandfather's trinket. He gains valuable allies from unlikely sources, and together they battle toward Darkmire Forest as the deadly forces gathering against them continue to swell.
