Alone, at age 15, he sailed on a freighter to America to continue his studies. The foundation of the world he knew as a child, carried him beyond Madagascar and into a world of adventure. He was in the Army for ten years and after becoming a pastor, was involved in various aspects of Christian ministry for over 30 years.
