Ngan-Ha found herself sacrificing social outings and even school activities in order to carry on this five thousand year old martial tradition. After years of arduous practice on the carpet, her love and passion for wushu cumulated in earning a spot on the US wushu team. While Ngan-Ha still enjoys wushu, she no longer pursues it at earnestly as she had done before. Other aspects of her life, long forgotten and neglected, are finally being given their due attention. She has since lived a year abroad in both Taiwan and China, and intends to continue studying the Chinese culture and language. This book will unveil the details of her journey through cultural discovery and personal development. Keywords:Listed in: |
