You'll love this book on phonics written by Ivan Henley. The wonderful examples and explanations of the different letters of the alphabet and how they sound will have you and your child eager to turn to the next page. It was written in second person which makes it easier and more fun for your child to relate to Milo and his adventures in the world of sounds and sights of letters. The book reads very smoothly and even though it has a few too many exclamation points (you tend to ignore them after a while) is certainly intended to be read with enthusiasm and fun in sharing with your child the sounds of the letters of the alphabet. For ages 3-7 it is a very fun-loving and suitable book for your child's collection.
