This is the best text book style book i have ever read. it is all done in a teaching way that makes you feel like the author is reading you the instructions and showing you how to program rather than the usual boring drawn out text you see now a days in books like this. All and all i give this book a 5 out of 5.

Programming is a weird thing, most people are not hardwired for it. If your in the small population that does have it at your fingertips, then you don't need any book.
But if your like me and have a hard time understanding the concepts of programming, this book is an excellent resource, especially for beginners struggling. It takes you step by step over the fundamentals of programming from if statements through loops, building upon each chapter while providing several clear examples.
If you are taking programming for the first time get this book, you won't regret it.
