All the elements to keep a child entertained!! Love the rhyming, but I feel illustrations would keep the children more interested when reading the books to themselves!!

I can just picture the joy on a child's face as he or she listens to this story being read before bedtime. The rhymes are enjoyable and the story portends something magical and wonderful.
Not too advanced for an 8-9 year old to read by himself/herself.
